Last week, we had the great honor of co-hosting the Possehl Innovation Conference, a three-day event that brought together more than 200 participants from across the Possehl Group. The conference connected colleagues from different countries in Osijek and Belišće, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and highlighting how Mono contributes to the group’s digital transformation alongside other initiatives.

Workshops and Knowledge Sharing

The first two days of the conference began at our offices in Osijek. Monday and Tuesday were dedicated to workshops and collaborative sessions, where participants from across the Possehl Group exchanged ideas, discussed innovation, and explored how digital solutions can be applied across industries.

Keynote on Artificial Intelligence

We are especially proud of our CEO, Denis Sušac, who on Tuesday delivered the keynote lecture “AI & Cutting-Edge Technologies in Manufacturing: What’s Hype and What’s Relevant?”. The session was attended by more than 200 participants and sparked lively discussions on the real potential and limitations of AI in industrial environments.

Co-Creation Workshop at Mono

Tuesday also featured a Co-Creation Workshop at Mono, led and prepared by Lisa-Marie Sax from Maschinenraum together with the Possehl Digital team – Christoph Haß and Franziska S. Wolters – as well as Finn Stadler from Possehl Group.

The workshop brought participants together in mixed groups to work on nine key focus topics, including AI, data strategy, and the Moonshot project – a vision for the next 10 years of the Possehl Group. Each topic was discussed and further developed with great enthusiasm. It was a strong example of how co-creation and close collaboration across all business units create real added value.

Visit to HF Belišće and Closing in IT Park Osijek

Tuesday also included a visit to HF Belišće, one of the Possehl Group companies in Croatia, where participants experienced expert talks and innovation in an industrial environment.

The third and final day took place at the brand-new IT Park Osijek, a symbol of technological growth and collaboration, where key takeaways were presented and the importance of innovation as the foundation for future development was emphasized.

It was also an opportunity to showcase Osijek and Slavonia as strong points on Europe’s digital map.
